We take our name from an ancient herb that has journeyed through millennia to reach the present day: Tarhun (tarragon).
Once given to the Hittite god of storms, this name and the plant itself has long been a symbol of healing, abundance, and sacredness in Anatolia. In many regions, from Ankara to Gaziantep, this herb was entrusted to the soil with morning prayers, cherished not only for its flavor but for the meaning it carried across generations.
Inspired by this deep-rooted story, we created Tarhun Anatolian Cuisine.
Our menu is a curated collection of Anatolia’s celebrated and undiscovered tastes sometimes appearing as a legend adorned with pomegranate seeds, other times as a memory hidden in the scent of wood fire.
